Her name is Isabel Allende Llona. She is Chilean-American and she is born in Perú to Chilean parents; became an American citizen in 2003. She is a writer.
In 1992 I created the Isabel Allende Foundation to support
the empowerment of women and girls worldwide (www.
isabelallendefoundation.org).
For over 20 years I have lectured internationally about
women’s rights and the empowerment of women; Latin
American and world politics; Chile; writing and the creative
process; spirituality; and my own work.
What we can learn from Isabel Allende is that we should fight for our rights as women. We should not let the people around us degrade our abilities and talents. Women have different roles in the society that are very important and helpful. There are things that women can only do.
